YOGA – All yoga classes at The Cobra Club focus on breathing and stretching, and enjoying the experience of being in your body. There is no advanced yoga class and no beginner class… our practice consists of simple, basic poses that will help ease tension and provide a respite from our hectic lives. Our practice is not about mastering a pose or mastering your body, it’s about being present where you are and enjoying being alive in that moment. We don’t chant in our practice, we don’t use Sanskrit names for yoga poses. We are a home for yoga misfits and we embrace our dark side. Welcome to The Cobra Club.
KIDS CLASSES – The Cobra Club’s Baby and Toddler classes are designed to create a supportive, friendly and playful environment in which kids are free to explore their surroundings, learn new skills, and interact with other little ones. All classes require attendance of a parent or caregiver, and everyone is invited to participate in the activities… extreme silliness and sense of play are strongly encouraged!
FITNESS – Fitness classes at The Cobra Club are our way of justifying (and enjoying) our lifestyles. Sometimes you have to be a little good in order to enjoy the bad – and vice versa – and we believe that pushing your body to its limits in the studio is one way to ‘earn’ the night that follows, whatever it may bring. We don’t believe you have to be pious to be into fitness and wellness, and we certainly don’t want to be working out to terrible pop music. Join us for the good sweat, and have a drink after.
