Punk Island Benefit on Saturday 4/1!

From the producer:

It’s that time of the year when all us punks and weirdos mark that it’s halfway til Halloween…which means we get to pretend it’s the 90s again and that we are other bands way more famous than ourselves!

This lineup rules and really, you DEF do not want to miss this night cuz then ya gotta wait til October and who wants to do that?!

—Stay Tuned— feat Gibbons opening with a mini set of 90s cartoon themes, what iconic jingles will they have in store for us?!
—Gobbstopper— as Jawbreaker- feat members of Little Prince you’re not punk and they’re telling everyone
—Beastie Grlz— the members of Thundera are reviving their Beastie Boys set and are officially licensed to ill
Teenage Whores as Hole— feat members of Fisty and Lady Biznessripping the hits and the lesser known gems from the early days all while guzzling plenty of hooch of course
My So Called Band as L7— Bricks are heavy and so is their sound, you’re going to be on their shitlist if you miss this
—Alien She as Bikini Kill— rioting, not dieting with a blistering set of riot grrrl classics. 3 parts Lady Bizness 1 part The Subtexts

The only night all of these bands are playing together, the only night some of them are playing for the next several months, your mission is clear, don’t miss it!

Van Halen-inspired Burlesque on Wednesday 3/29!

When we look back at the music that changed the lives of a generation, this band will definitely be noted as Icons of Rock and Roll.
Having sold more than 80 million albums worldwide, Van Halen have cemented themselves as pioneers of hard rock in the late 70′s.
With two frontman that defied the normalcy of other lead singers, their electric stage presence and impressive guitar abilities of Eddie Van Halen destroyed all doubts of their potential. This show will pay homage to that wild, sexy, dirty rock and roll that we all miss.

Rock bands on Saturday 3/25!

The Values are an indie dance pop band looking to make you move and groove with their energetic show infused with lush harmoines, guitar shredding, and sick beatz.
Ted’s Dead are one of the most exciting punk rock groups in Brooklyn. Political. Check. Face melting? Check. Sexy as hell? Tripple check!

Dangerous Animals are an American rock band formed in 2012 in Storrs, Connecticut. The group consists of Mike Holler (lead vocals, guitar), Connor McTaggart (guitar), Mike Schulz (bass guitar), and Mitch Igneri (drums).

By mixing equal portions of overdriven guitars, dance rhythms, and dynamic melodies, Dangerous Animals has crafted a unique sound that bounces between danceable indie rock, dark post-punk, and swaggering rocknroll. They have released two EPs to date, Don’t Blame The Floor If You Can’t Dance (2014) and Thick Thieves On The Bricktops (2016).

Witch Hunt comedy show on Wednesday 3/22!

Witch Hunt comedy show was inspired by the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 in Colonial Massachusetts where many women were accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake. Ok, it was really inspired by all the female comedians who when they see an all male lineup want to set themselves on fire.

This show originated in LA with Merrill Davis & Debra DiGiovanni and now we have graced New York with our firey presence!

Hosted by Merrill Davis, Wanjiko Eke, and Irene Morales
